Join Sarah Kate Benjamin of The Kosmic Kitchen for a day of relaxation and rejuvenation at the beautiful Osmosis Day Spa. To start, you’ll explore key herbs of the springtime that support whole body health and learn how to infuse them into everyday meals in a way that feels both sensible and fun. Then, you’ll take part in a hands-on herbal cooking class where we’ll create a nourishing lunch together while enjoying the sounds of the nearby creek.
After the cooking class, you’ll relax with a group cedar enzyme footbath, choose between a 70-minute massage or a 65-minute custom facial, and experience peaceful walking meditation through our bamboo forest followed by guided meditation in our renowned Japanese garden.
By the end of the day, you’ll feel inspired to connect with the herbs of the season, discover fun and easy ways to bring them into your daily rituals, and leave restored by the rejuvenating treatments at Osmosis Day Spa.
ABOUT SARAH KATE BENJAMIN
Sarah Kate Benjamin is an herbalist, holistic chef, and cookbook author. After doctors diagnosed her with chronic fatigue syndrome in her early twenties, she turned to nourishing foods and restorative herbs to heal. Since then, she has taught kitchen herbalism and herbal cooking for the past 10 years. She centers her approach to herbal cooking on helping people build relationships with medicinal plants and everyday foods, inviting them to see their kitchens as sanctuaries for healing and deeper self-connection. From medicinal broths and comforting porridges to adaptogenic spice blends and digestive-supportive dressings, she aims to make herbal foods accessible and seamless to any kitchen practice.
She co-authored her first book, The Kosmic Kitchen Cookbook, and released it in August of 2020. Sarah lives in Sebastopol, California, where she teaches online herbal cooking classes, offers one-on-one consultations, and runs a weekly herbal recipe subscription.
